Who We Are

Pathfinder is an initiative of the Harvard Cancer Consortium research training office. Our office’s mission is to empower and assist cancer researchers and trainees of all career stages to discover and engage with the exceptional educational and training resources offered at HCC institutions. The research training office is committed to addressing the unique strategic challenges faced by our community, whether it’s finding and addressing resource deficiencies, or identifying, creating, and launching powerful new initiatives like Pathfinder.

About Harvard Cancer Consortium

Harvard Cancer Consortium is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center founded to integrate and build upon the collective talent and resources of the Harvard cancer research community. Five Boston academic medical institutions—Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Massachusetts General Hospital—and two Harvard Schools—the Harvard Medical School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health—combined their scientific strengths to create a rich, collaborative environment that transcends institutional borders.

As one of the largest cancer research enterprises in the world, HCC is committed to maximizing the impact of its research for cancer patients and ultimately realizing a world without cancer.
